Do you only service small businesses?
No. NOCservices specializes in providing services to small business of all kinds -- whether you are based in a small office, home office or even a mobile office. But we are by no means limited to "traditional" business either -- we have experience in dealing with non-profit organizations and schools, for example. We also host personal websites and groups which don't formally exist (alumni groups, groups of friends, etc.).
Is there a fee for making changes to my website?
Not from NOCservices. You may make as many updates to your site as you wish, whenever you wish. Note that, if you contract with a third-party to design or maintain your website, there may or may not be a fee for making changes to your site; however, this fee would be subject to the contract between you and them and would not involve NOCservices.
What forms of payment can I use?
NOCservices can accept payment via American Express, Discover Network, MasterCard and VISA, as well as by check, money order and wire transfer. Please note that if paying by check or money order, your payment must clear our bank before can process an order based upon it. Therefore, if it is critical that you get your account setup or domain registered, please consider using a credit card, certified bank check or wire transfer. Credit card transactions are subject to a 3% service charge. Also note that incoming wire transfers are subject to a $15 processing fee; be sure to include that additional amount in each of your transfers. Returned checks are subject to a $20 processing fee and non-U.S. checks may be subject to a currency conversion fee. Can I resell your services?
Yes. Depending on what is more appropriate to your situation, you may purchase a single e-commerce hosting account and provide your clients with addresses such as http://www.yoursite.com/theirname/
or you may choose to use separate accounts for each client. In this case, you would receive a percentage discount off of our regular pricing. Contact resale@nocservices.com for more information.
Alternatively, you may wish to consider either a co-located or dedicated server. With this, you would have total control over what you could offer your clients and more control over your monthly costs.
Is it easy to transfer my existing site to NOCservices, without interruption to my website or e-mail?
Yes, it is. What you would want to do is sign up for a new account with us first. Once we process your order, we will e-mail you complete information on how to access your new account. Your next step would be transfer the files that make up your website to our server and to configure our mail server to handle your e-mail appropriately. (Our default configuration will have all mail addressed to your domain delivered to the person who ordered the account.)
Once everything is setup properly, the final step is to move the domain name to NOCservices DNS servers. This will require the approval of the current administrative contact for your domain. (With some registrars, the technical contact can also make this change -- it varies.) The exact procedure will vary a bit from registrar to registrar, but the basic procedure is to make a request for the change via the registrar's website. The registrar will then send an e-mail to the administrative contact for the domain asking for confirmation. The admin. contact will respond via e-mail or by visiting a website listed in the e-mail message they receive. If the change is confirmed, it will take between 24 and 48 hours to take affect. During this transition, some of your visitors will see your old website and send e-mail to your old provider, and some will be access your domain on our servers. However, since you uploaded the same files to both places and both providers know how to route your e-mail, no visitors or e-mail will be lost.

What if I need to cancel my service?
Our virtual hosting accounts have no minimum contract length. As such, if you need to, you may cancel the account at any time. Accounts cancelled within ten calendar days of the start of a billing period will receive a prorated refund for unused service. (Domain name registration fees and costs associated with extra technical support are not refundable.) Accounts cancelled by NOCservices for violations of our acceptable use policy are not entitled to a refund.
